Have you ever been paralyzed in a situation where you thought,
“I’m not really sure what to do.”
Or maybe you’re just in a crossroad where you think,
“Should I do this or should I do that?”
Well, I was recently on the phone with a client and she was telling me that she wasn’t sure which direction she wanted to go and she just felt like she was completely stuck.
It reminded me about the time that I had a 1967 Volkswagen Bug. In fact it was my very first car! One of the things about that car was that it didn’t have power steering, so, if you parked in the driveway trying to turn the steering wheel it wouldn’t go anywhere. But if you step on the gas and just start moving a little bit it became very easy to steer. You could guide the car wherever you wanted.
See a lot of people are trying to change the direction of a “parked car.” It’s almost impossible to change the direction of a parked car. But if you just get in motion and start doing something whether it’s personally, professionally, or in your business you can start to get yourself “unstuck.”
If you’re not sure what to do to begin, just start doing something and then course correct as you go. See, a lot of people want to make sure that everything is perfect before they get in motion, but I’ll tell you some of the most successful people just start and then correct as they go, versus waiting for perfection in order to be efficient with what they do.
I hope this was helpful for you! In the comment section I would love for you to do me a favor and say
“I’ve been stuck before”
